Phipps Conservatory - Phipps’ Center for Sustainable Landscapes

The Phipps' Center for Sustainable Landscapes has an impressive goal of operating as cleanly and efficiently as possible as part of the natural world. They have reached the highest level of sustainability by achieving every green certification possible for a building. The Phipps’ Center for Sustainable Landscapes has become the first and only building to attain WELL Building Platinum certification and Four Stars Sustainable SITES Initiative™ certification.

It has now become the fourth building in the entire world to be certified as a ‘Living Building’ by the International Living Future Institute and has LEED Platinum certification. They chose Tandus Centiva’s ethos® Modular with Omnicoat Technology™ tile for its excellent material health profile, high performance, and unmatched environmental attributes. The ethos® Modular tile uses a PVB backing made from recycling the film in safety glass and windshields.
