An Environmental Product Declaration provides Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) results, material and recycled content, environmental certifications and other relevant product information in a standardized, fact-based, comprehensive report. EPDs provide end users with clear, accurate, verified product information to assist them in making informed purchasing decisions. Tandus Centiva’s EPDs were written according to the Product Category Rules (PCRs) for Flooring issued by NSF International and were reviewed, verified and registered by UL Environment. Product Category Rules define how to conduct an LCA for a particular building product category and what to include in the resulting EPD as defined by ISO 14025. Tandus Centiva’s EPDs and Transparency Briefs (two page summaries) are available in the Sustainable Product Database on UL Environment’s web site.
